You might think my blog is boring and unentertaining considering the fact that it’s all about me, and that no one seems interested in it. I couldn’t care less ‘cause at the very beginning my goal is not to entertain nor attract any attention, but only to share not only my insights but also my thoughts about certain things that capture my interest. So, the question is, what best describes you?

Well, to be honest with all of you, I’m not quite sure. But, one thing that likely best describes my personality is that I’m a potato, what I mean by that is I am an introvert. Yes, you’ve read it right. It’s not a bad thing nor a good one, but maybe it’s just who I am. Furthermore, I like to interact with people but it only happens once in a blue moon. Everything that I do, all depends on my mood and what kind of environment I’m in. Writing is my way of expressing my feelings and thoughts that run through my mind, it relieves my stress, in addition to this, it’s the only thing that makes me feel at ease. Instead of people, I rely on music more in my toughest days. Music is my companion; it is my escape route from reality. I get lost in my little world and for me, that’s the beauty of music that I truly appreciate. Undoubtedly, It’s not just me who thinks and acts like this. I am given to understand that people these days typically teenagers, prefer keeping everything in their life in private. It’s not being secretive or mysterious, the world is just full of uncertainties and cruelty that people find it hard to deal with. 

You see, human as we are, we all have selfish desires; coming up with different ways for us to have it in our grasp. They may care about your well-being today, but tomorrow maybe they won’t even lay their eyes on you. They have a life of their own, it’s not important if you’re hurting today or not, you are responsible for your own life, so you must take care of it.

Many of Ilocos Sur's customs, songs, dances, and other aspects of Ilocano culture are unfamiliar to the younger generations. It is important to maintain this rich history and unique culture for future generations. Children today are more interested in modern and novelty dances that they see on television than they are in traditional dances. It is also necessary to examine the various items produced by the various towns, as well as the agricultural products and livestock produced by farmers and fishermen.
